An important meeting is underway at the Syed Ali Geelani’s Hyderpora residence where other two Joint Resistance Leaders (JRL) Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Muhammad Yasin Malik are present and deliberating over recent remarks of Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh over his readiness in holding talks with Hurriyat and Pakistan. The crucial meeting, sources told Kashmir News Observer (KNO) , started at 2 pm at Geelani’s residence.

“The meeting is underway and a joint response to talks offer of New Delhi is on cards. Besides, a six member committee would be constituted for holding wider consultations with the various segments of society to find an alternative to strike calls,” he said. The JRL is likely to talk to media at the end of their meeting, a source said.
